This was a very different trail. Seemed like and obstacle course at times. It was slippery from heavy rains the night before and we had garden hoses to hand on to when we were going up and down seep inclines. The trail was right along the Green River the whole time. We never found Johnson Spring. We hike almost three miles and then came to a beautiful meadow with a sign that said the spring was still 2.75 miles away. We chose to turn around. None of us but Carla could do almost ten miles in one hike. We had such a fun time laughing and singing and screaming when we saw a snake or two.

Camp Ondessonk and Cedar Falls Again! April 17th 2024
This was a miserable hike. The temps were in the upper 80's and the ticks were horrible. Becky M. and Nancy O both got too hot. Beck almost got sick. It scared me bad!
